Cookie and Storage Policy

OwnWay currently uses essential browser storage and does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

What the website currently uses

The public OwnWay website does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or behavioural tracking. A small browser storage record is used to remember that you have seen the storage notice.

Secure portal storage

My OwnWay, OwnWay Family, Staff and Office use session storage for sign in tokens. This is necessary to keep you signed in during the current browser session and to send authenticated requests to OwnWay. These session tokens are cleared when the relevant browser session ends or when you sign out.

Admin and workspace preferences

Some OwnWay staff workspaces may store non-sensitive interface preferences, such as recently used records or where the user was working, in browser storage. This is used to provide the feature requested by the user and is not used for advertising.

Third party content

The public website currently loads selected website images from Unsplash. This means the visitor's browser may connect to Unsplash to retrieve those images. OwnWay intends to replace temporary third party imagery with locally hosted assets where practical before the final launch.

If optional tracking is added later

OwnWay will not switch on non-essential analytics, advertising or similar storage technologies without first updating this policy and implementing an appropriate consent choice where the law requires it.
